The SF-155L Pegasus is Galspan's lightest fighter craft intended for fast recon and high maneuverability. A titanium hull and passive reflex shields afford light protection, but it's agility and speed more than make up for its thin skin. The Galspan Pegasus is simply the fastest registered ship class in USG space, commenly referred to as a "Thruster with Wings."

Arena match: I would think the best ship to use for arena would be a peggy. Theres always a missler, or rocket man in arena...and thats why the peggy is such a good ship for it. If you can fly your peggy right, you can dodge plasma rockets all day long, there hardly ever a really great aim in arena, so you dont have to worry about people like Wild Dog. You can also easily outrun missles even without boosters. Just once you see a lock..drop 3-4 ecms and hit full speed slide. The as any other missles close in, hit the "L" key to target them, and blast them. Trust me, IT WORKS!!
Base Wars: Dont ask me about basewars, i hardly ever play it, but from my little base wars playing time i have learnt that peggys are the best ships to either
A) Fly above base and take out fighter (Thus lower Bora's self esteem =).
or
B) Bomb cps and LSP. I like to take my helios and hit a cp, which takes it to roughly 50 or 60, then use my diemos to blow the rest away. To dodge turret lasers just cut all engine, use the "D" and "S" keys to straf while tapping the "W" and "E" keys.
Peggys are also good at mining. They can get quick crystals to restore a lost tech 10 faster than most ships. Only draw back to a peggy in mining is that they dont have much cargo space.

One of the most common fighters, the SF-014 Orion ship class is the direct result of recent collaboration between Galspan and Phobos Proprietary systems. The Orion's rotational maneuverability and shield emission units have been enhanced significally over previous models with advanced PPS designs. However, hull durability has been greatly sacraficed to accomodate space requirements for this advanced hardware, but don't let the stats fool you. The Orion is a much better ship than the stats reveal.

The Archangel is Galspan's chief heavy defense vehicle. Few ships have managed to achieve the reputation of fear in combat that the HF-550 Archangel enjoys. With advanced antiproton power storage and delivery systems, the Archangel can and usually does sport the heaviest weapons permissable in The Seven Planet Accord. With a Uranium/Titanium matrix alloy hull and redundant shield emitters, the Archangel is nearly impervious to light single-craft assualt.

Slower and more heavily armored than the Archangel, the IF-686R Poseidon is Galspan's dominant multirole bomber. This ship's advanced low interrupt power cells make it the most energy efficient warship in Galspan's arsenal. Its polylaminate hull and active variance shields afford improved protection from enemy fire over lighter scout craft.
