These are Singleplayer hints/tip for flying the ships used by emplayees of the Bora Mining Industries, provided by various Fringe pilots.

THE NUMBER ONE TIP FOR ALL NEWBIES ! R E A D T H E M A N U A L !

1. Easy way to make money enter the Frontier competitions, the pirates never attack more than about 2 at a time. Earned over 50k from the last competition and it hardly even dented my shields.

2. Take out any weapons platforms powerplants or Guns before they start shooting at you.

3. With the Bora campaign make sure you take Nick the Bora man the one in the Mace with you when you try to convince the station that is about to desert the Bora.

4. When targeting capital ships use the ';' key to cycle through the subsystems and try to take out the weapons powerplant first.

5. You cannot buy another ship until you have enough money to afford the new ship, in other words you can't sell your current ship first. The game does not like you to be ship-less.

6. Use the '9' key to automatically follow the targets speed.

7. When docking or landing on a pad. Make sure you can see the green flashing arrows either on the landing pad or in the hole in the side of the ship. If you cannot see the green arrows in the ship the try rotating 180 degrees. Also try pressing the F2 key and rotate the view round to see how far away you are from the pad/hole in side.

8. The Bora Battleaxe plus Booster seemed quite a good combination especially for dog fighting, the laser loadout for the Warhammer seemed a bit strange to me.

9. If you get into trouble try burning your way out of trouble then quickly press F9 key 1 quickly to get your wingman to take out the target.

1)You don't need to buy every ship. I only bought the battleaxe and hammer. If you have the creds go ahead.

2)Wingmen are so cheap, just take one with you on every mission so you don't have to pay the initial cost all the time.

3) End the game without cheat codes and practice at the combat training. If you need to cheat to beat the pilots in the single game,

A) My granny flys better then you.

B) you'd better stick with the school zone and Milk Run in Multi. "The Arena" and "Halogen run" normally has a mix of Veteran, Ace, and a few Elite pilots. PLEASE do not start multi-player in Halogen run. You will not find it fun being fragged every time you leave the base!!!

1)When fighting cap ships, target the weapons power plant FIRST. You kill this and the Cap ship can't do crap, you can nullify the threat of any Cap ship wether it be a frigate or carrier simply by hitting that gun plant. Then hit the main plants to keep it from running away.

2) The battleaxe is pretty much the best ship to use for single player, since you will be shooting at numerous dumb AIs and not one or two ppl the Axe's vast energy reserve is VERY helpful

3) EMP projectors are your friend. "Why" you ask "they only disable a ship!" because once you get a ship shields down it only takes one good stream of EMP shots (10-12 shots, thats not much with the EMPs ROF) to disable a ship. Disabled ships cant fight and you can disable a ship quicker than you can slag it. Then you can hit the next target and your wingman can pick the disabled guy off or you can come back later and do it. Also disabled ships DONT caount as destroyed ones so you can disable enemy ship you can sit around and recharge you energy and THEN hit the disabled ships and trigger the next wave of attackers.
